CLIENT TOOLS
If we've asked you to download something, this is the only place it comes from.
There are two tools here. One lets us see your screen when you want help, and one gathers the details of your Mac so we don't have to ask you to read out serial numbers over the phone. You don't need either one unless we've talked about it.
We use Zoho Assist for remote help. You start the session, you can see everything we do, and you can end it at any time.

On a Mac, the first session will ask you to allow Screen Recording and Accessibility in System Settings. That's macOS making sure you meant it — we'll walk you through it.
A small Mac app we built that collects the details we'd otherwise have to ask for: model and serial number, macOS version, storage, memory, network, battery health, and whether FileVault, the firewall and backups are switched on. It can also check your drive's health and reset the permissions on your home folder.

Unzip it, drag it to Applications, and open it. Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. (1.3 MB)
What it doesn't do
It doesn't read your files, see your passwords, or send anything anywhere on its own. It only looks at how the machine is set up, and it can't change anything without you clicking a button.
Sending it to us
Click Send to Two Bit. It opens an email in your own Mail app with the report attached, so you can read it before you hit send.
Remote-support scams are common, and they work by sounding official. We will never call you out of the blue asking to connect to your computer, and we'll never ask you to install anything from a site other than this one. If someone claiming to be Two Bit does either, hang up and call us at (816) 237-8087.
